Nursey rhyme is a simple traditional song or poem for children.
Nursery rhymes have been proven to be hugely important in the classroom as they:
- Introduce youngsters to words they might not hear every day.
- Tell a story with a beginning, middle, and end as often as possible. This teaches youngsters that things happen in a certain order, and they begin to understand and follow stories as a result.
- They follow predictable patterns and assist students in learning easy recall and memorization.
- Positively support children's language development and early literacy and reading skills.
- Develop the mouth and tongue muscles as children say these rhymes.
- Children understand how words are formed.
- Enables children to copy actions.
