In my society, I am faced with the challenge of women's economic dependency and physical abuse. The home environment is a low status where people live hand to mouth. They hustle daily in the industrial area to keep their life going.

The reason for selecting this home environment is because it has affected children's school life immensely. There have been high school dropout rates due to the abuse and inability to raise school fees.

Women's economic dependency has been caused by the culture of the society where women are believed to be home keepers and are not supposed to work but depend on their husbands. Before the 21st century, girl children never used to be taken to school and were never allowed to work. Right now, there has been an emphasis to educate women and related girl children to make them free and not dependent on their husbands. It is out of this dependency that has caused physical abuse to both the women and children forcing them to go out of home and leave school eventually.
