   Africanization is crucial for all Africans as it gives them a sense of belonging. Africa, as a continent has diverse values and cultures. Africanisation therefore plays a key role in unifying them. In order to create a unified future it is important to dwell in the past. On the contrary, as Europeans moved into colonization and beyond exploration of the Americans, they caused changes on trade, hunting to warfare and personal property, and to all aspects of the land and its people. The Europeans and their ideas changed the structure of the continent as shown by the "Missionaries and Colonial Government" document. This is a positive effect.

    The above document explains how the colonial government made improvements in sanitation methods and medi care. These improvements were also made in the agriculture sector, in turn increasing food production.

    Africanisation permits Africans to come up with curriculums that can be used well in their economic system, while colonization is the adoption of curriculum from colonial masters and also, the control over resources.
