Gender stereotype and gender imbalance- Gender bas in children's books have been historically widespread. The way children are raised and what they read helps them formulate their perception of the world and are able to have an identity based on their gender .gender stereotype exacerbate inequalities and enhance individual powers.
Cultural stereotype- Stereotype allows people to classify others using a few characteristics as possible. Cultural stereotype divide's normal from the abnormal and the acceptable from unacceptable.
Race-Classification of people based on their outward appearance causes individuals to miss out on important talents and gifts possessed by other individuals.
Political affiliation- With the current political changes in South Africa ,the education system is undergoing an overhaul with writers biased in writing while addressing political issues.
