 Impacts of Covid 19 on education

The covid-19 outbreak has brought about such changes and effects on how people interact with each other. It has brought various impacts such as socio-economic, political, religious, health, and business impacts. It has led to the multiple effects bringing in fresh breath in education and different approaches to education.

Firstly, the Covid-19 outbreak has brought in need and shift to online education. It has made it challenging to face top facer classes and thus forcing institutions to focus on online education where students can access teaching from wherever they are to avoid the spread of the disease. Many platforms have been invented to facilitate online learning, such as; Udemy, Teachable, WizIQ, Ruzuku, Educadium, Learn Worlds, Thinkific, and Academy Of Mine. The creation of the apps has created jobs for the innovators and thus boosting their revenues.

Secondly, there have been increased pregnancy rates as a result of school closure. Schoolgirls have been impregnated after staying home for a long time due to the closure of schools. It has hampered many school children's lives, increasing poverty levels and the prevalence of HIV/AIDS. Boys have left school to engage in illegal businesses and search for money, barring them of more significant benefits in the future.

The covid-19 outbreak has led to the miserable life of many people across the globe. However, it has had positive impacts such as it has increased creativity and innovation in the education sector, growth of internet-based companies providing networks, and increased convenience of learning. The future of education ahead lies in the online platforms, and everyone can access education from any part of the country across the globe.
