Human resource policies are continuing guidelines on the approach of which an organization intends to adopt in managing its people. Examples of human resource policies include;

• Safety and Health policies- These are policies, procedures and plans that manages safety at work. They help to minimize the risks of injury and illnesses at the work place operations.
• Recruiting policies- These policies helps to ensure that recruitment is done in a consistent manner. The policies helps to prevent discrimination and also enables the organization to hire a diverse workforce.
