Presentation skills are important because having effective presentation skills means one is good at communicating. By speaking clearly, and getting your ideas and message across to people well, there will be less miscommunication in your life. This means less stress and happier relationships. Examples of good presentation skills include being knowledgeable, being confident, having self-awareness whereby people will tell you to be witty, be charming, be funny, be energetic. These are all great qualities to have as a presenter but what’s most important is you are these things within your own ability. Another skill is being passionate whereby you present with conviction, and memorable.
