Firstly, the multicultural class helps in equipping and improving the communication skills of the students for example if local students interact with foreign students on daily basis, the local student will have gained communication skills from abroad which widens them and foreign are able to learn how to communicate with locals for example; a student from Johannesburg and a student from the United Kingdom.

Secondly, students develop an open mind. Students exchange stories about their countries and other interesting information about their nations as well. The experience allows children to be open-minded and to get a deeper understanding and appreciation of each other’s culture. In this, it can truly benefit and help students maintain a healthy relationship with each other. For example, a student from a rich country or family will have a different story from a child from a poor country or family and the ideas will vary and each will open their mind to understand scenarios.

Thirdly, It helps to build empathy in the classroom. A multicultural classroom will definitely give students and teachers the opportunity to show their empathy to each other, no matter what their backgrounds are.
