In this case, the new knowledge appears to be "in the middle" (master vs learner). It isn't entirely the Master's deep knowledge since he limits his options in order to adapt them to the novice, and it isn't entirely the beginner's true capabilities because he dances better only because the master assists him. As a result, both of them are enacting some knowledge "in between."
