A maid is a female domestic servant. A female domestic employee who cleans accommodations or does cleaning or other housework in a home.
Mezmerized is an adjective that describes being held in place by something not physically but by extreme interest in what you see or hear.
Pined is a verb meaning to suffer a mental and physical decline, especially because of a broken heart.
Peered means to look carefully or with difficulty like when no one answered the door, she peered through the window to see if anyone was there.
