Some countries and states have made it mandatory for employers to have one in place in their organization and companies .It safe guards the employees from unwanted and inappropriate sexual actions and comments. This also helps protect the company's image and avoid negativity against the company.
2. Safety and Health policy- These are the policies that define the work safety regulations at the work place. There are several regulations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act that require employers to have specific policies in place if certain workplace hazards exist. This will help the company avoid law suits from their employees who get injured while at work.
