The irony of the narrative "Man Lands on the Moon" is that it is widely circulated among many accomplished people who have recently reached the moon.
There were no women or non-binary people on the next six lunar missions, despite the fact that a total of twelve astronauts touched foot on the Moon. The missions' names are already suggestive; Apollo is the male deity of the sun, light, knowledge, order, and agriculture in Greek mythology, among other things, but he is primarily the ideal of physical superiority and moral virtue. This legacy, together with the weight of their cultural backgrounds, is carried by Aldrin and Armstrong, the two essential protagonists of the Apollo 11 mission. Armstrong's photograph is both visually and thematically complicated. It was photographed with a custom-made Hasselblad camera, which is mirrored on the surface of Aldrin's space helmet, together with the photographer and the rest of the technical gear. Because the center figure still occupies the majority of the seen area, the scale of the Moon in proportion to the size of the represented person is distorted. Both astronauts' non-identifiable faces appear to be looking at each other while the horizon behind them merges into a smooth line. They are extraterrestrials on a heavenly body that has never seen human life. They began a history that had previously been planned with one goal in mind: populating the Moon. The only Moon on our planet. Unlike past explorers such as Christopher Columbus, the Apollo 11 crew had a pre-conceived notion of what they would find on this deserted land.
