Health professionals and school health teams.
1. They play a key role in the SIAS process by conducting more formal assessments.
Teachers
1. They promote exclusionary practices to avoid labeling learners who are identified for additional support.
2. Teachers drive the support process by assuming the role of the case manager.
DBSTs
1. They aid in the successful implementation of an exclusive education support system.
2. They provide support to learners by aiding in decision-making.
SBSTs
1. They provide DBSTs with evidence of support-provision to learners at the school level.
2. Together with DBSTs, they recognize more community-based support.
