Why do we teach atomic theory of matter?

The purpose of teaching the atomic theory of matter is to offer information on the nature of matter materials that necessitate the formation of solar systems, all galaxies, and the universe (Cheng, 2018). By understanding the atomic theory, it becomes easier to conduct future research concerning atoms, their properties, and behaviors (Cheng, 2018). It is vital in understanding what the world is made of. It enables people to see the world in terms of atoms through properties of matter, including; gas, liquid, and solid and smell that emerges from interactions on an atomic level.
