He was born on 3 January 1954, and he lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Bristol, Baltimore, and San Francisco. He has one wife and three beautiful daughters. They all reside in New York City and maintain a home in Seattle, Washington.

He will be attracted to Alaska since his occupation matches, and the region has many exciting features. His occupation is an expedition guide, dog musher, Polar adventurer, educator, photographer, and author.
