Most schools and colleges spend too much money preparing students for careers not enough preparing them to make social decisions, do you agree with the statement?...... Give a reason to support your answer
The statement is absolutely true. The academic paradigm of schools is to equip students with knowledge and skills necessary for their careers. Socializing which involve making friends is seen as unnecessary and a waste of time. Additionally most institutions believe that having friends leads to ruining of good morals. Contrary to this, schools should also prepare students for social decisions. Having friends is a way of making wise and critical decisions regarding one's career because student's can be able to share ideas. Moreover, socializing enables someone to choose good friends for future, for example they may finally end in a business partnership. Therefore, schools or colleges should not only deal with career development but also social decisions.
