The theme that I picked for this essay is Sexism and Misogyny but I need help coming up with a thesis statement and a counter-argument for the thesis to prove that it is arguable and writing one supporting argument. The video How movies teach manhood by Colin Stokes has some striking insights not only about how boys should be taught but also how girls should be molded. i believed a movie that is selected for the kids in the Netflix should meet the criteria of Bechdel. there are alarmin cases of gender-based violence that is blamed on patriarchal society hence proper teaching through movie documentaries where kids can identify with characters that support equality and cherish human dignity is worth being supported.
