Stories are powerful because they are the bearers of life and meaning. *a.) Relate a story of a CICM missionary today ( give the name and the foreign country where he is serving now). In your short story, focus only on one (1) of his apostolate work. Include his joys and how he copes with his challenges and struggles.
b.) From the perspective of faith, what insights have you gained from his story?
Answer to the question.
I'll talk about a catholic missionary originally from Singapore who joined CCIM in 1989 after completing his notiviate in Taiwan. The name of the Missionary is Fr. Peter Koh. He went for a missionary work to Malawi since 2019 to date. One of his apostolate work is to spread Gods word and celebrate Eucharist.
Interacting and leaning the culture of the Malawi people is one of his joys. Once he arrived in Malawi, language barrier was one of the challenges he faced though it took time to learn the local Malawi language. Due to lack of public transport, it forced him to travel on Ox- Carts.
Fr. Peter Koh is a dedicated catholic missionary who does his work willingly without the thirst of being rewarded. He loves his job and enjoys being a Christian.
