The CICM missionaries believe that they find God with His people in the mission areas where they are sent. * a.) Explain what this statement means for them
*b.) What does this statement finding God with His people mean to you? How do you experience this concretely as a young missionary in your own place?
a). Missionaries join a society to share the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Christian faith. The location of a missionary or a group of missionaries has an effect on their work (international or local communities). A missionary's first duty, at the very least, is to God, followed by his or her church or missions organization. Since people are created in the image of God, missionary believes they encounter God whenever they go as there first duty is unto God Himself.
b). The statement "Finding God with His people" mean to me that God is often present and most importantly available among people who are in desire need of the word of God. Ignatian Spirituality places a high emphasis on finding God in all things. It's an invitation to see what's not there, to discover what's not hidden, and to appreciate what's not there. God is present in every aspect of life, both good and poor, big and small. As a young missionary I often emphasizes faith as an ongoing dialogue between me and God. Therefore, finding God in new places enable my faith to grow
