In paragraph 8, the author states, "Most schools and colleges spend too much money preparing them to make social decisions." Do you agree with this statement ? In a paragraph of 100 words give reasons to substantiate your answer.
I do not agree at all with that statement. Though schools make one of the avenues in which students can be motivated to make social decisions in their lives, the latter do not need any knowledge of schools to make these decisions. In schools, students are taught knowledge based on academic disciplines such as; Mathematics, Chemistry, English, French, Biology, Physics, and Geography among others. Thus, students get knowledge about those disciplines, but not life in general. They get knowledge about life from many other interactions in life apart from school or learning settings.
