'Antonyms is the use of prefixes and suffixes to a root word'
An antonym is the sense relation that is between two opposite words in terms of meaning. A prefix consists of a group of letters placed before the root of a word; for example, the name "unhappy" consists of the prefix "un."A suffix is a letter attached. Antonyms are the use of prefixes and suffixes though this principle doesn't apply in all English words.
