According to Gandhi and Plato reality and appearance are scientific terms that aims to outline the reality compared to the appearance. Consequently, in daily life most people differentiate between the exact size of an individual and the size and the standard condition. Gandhi maintains the idea of striking difference between appearance and reality. Plato on the other hand developed his philosophy on the ground of realistic principles and places the senses above. Plato insist that one cannot judge the surrounding world and reality with the appearance but rather argues that human perception and appearance can be erroneous and if people perceive reality by reality it can lead to wrong view.
