Question #120942

How have attitudes toward women changed since the time of this story? in the story of the dinner party by Mona Gardner.

Expert's answer

The story portrayed women as screamers and prone to losing control during a crisis. As Mrs. Wynnes a woman character in the story presents women as similarly to have equal control over a crisis like men. Contrary to this attitude women role in situations of crisis has greatly changed, they show boldness and leadership when handling crisis owing to the fact that a number of women have taken charge in society building, and some presently acts as family heads in children upbringing.
