Which undesirable emissions are produced by the combustion of fossil fuels? What adverse effects are produced by these emissions?

Due to combustion of fossil fuels there is large production of carbon dioxide. It traps heat in the atmosphere and lead to climate change. The main adverse effect of these emissions are global warming.

1. Increase the temperature of the earth.
2. Melting of polar ice and raising the sea level.
3. Oxide of carbon,sulphur and nitrogen leads to formation of acid rain.
4. It also changes the pH of soil which make it less fertile.
