Solution: The circuit is designed in such a way that the PWM waveform generated by the first 555 is used as an input to the second 555 to obtain the PPM wave form, which is again working as a monostable multi-vibrator, with a fixed pulse width. Then again another IC 555 timer is used to recovering a PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) signal by connecting the PPM (Pulse Position Modulation) output from the second IC 555 timer to the third IC 555 timer input and we get PWM signal from the last IC 555 timer.
Answer: By cascading three IC 555 timer we get desired PWM signal from PPM signal.
