Discuss Deloitte emerging technologies that they have been implemented.
Fostering a sense of belonging while striving for individuality. Technology creates a world in which everything and everyone can be individualized. And yet people want to feel that they belong to something greater. The results of the study confirm that the issue of forming a sense of belonging is of high importance: 79% of respondents said that “fostering a sense of belonging to the team” was named an important or very important criterion for the success of their organization in the next 12-18 months. What if, instead of creating discord, individuality can become a source of strength, born of uniting the unique complementary abilities of people to achieve common goals? To be able to do this, organizations need to focus on the capabilities of each employee, linking these people together through a single Purpose.
Building resilience in a world of change. Technologies form people's need for constant change and self-development. At the same time, people want to feel stability and security. This year's survey results highlight the need for retraining: 53% of companies surveyed said that half to 100% of their employees will need to change their skills and abilities over the next three years. What if, instead of being perceived as a threat, retraining could become a means of seeking resilience in the face of transformations? In order to be able to do this, organizations must use retraining as a way to increase the potential of their employees in order to achieve long-term success at work.
Courageous action in an era of uncertainty. Technology creates a sense of continuous change. However, people want to feel confident in order to maintain bold steps forward. Our study reflects the uncertainty that many organizations feel about their ability to navigate rapid change: 90% of respondents said the ability of organizations to drive large and rapid change will be critical to business success over the next 10 years, but only 55% reported readiness their companies to change to a similar scale and dynamics of change. But what if, instead of raising doubts, uncertainty could create new opportunities: the ability to shape the future through decisive action? To be able to do this, organizations need to translate uncertainty into an informed Perspective that helps them navigate the future of work with confidence.
