The heat capacity is critical in calculating the enthalpy and entropy. Using the data (heat capacity) from book or internet and also ∆fus H (I2) = 15.52387kJ/mol at 387K and ∆vap (I2) =41.57kJ/mol at 457K. a) Calculate the heat required to bring one mole of iodine from 0K to 500k. b) calculate the absolute entropy of iodine at 500K
why the temprature of matter remain same at phase change?
I have developed a soap bubble solution (like the kind kids play with, but for making giant soap bubbles) and I want to store it in a concentrate form, to be diluted later.

I’m using 6.5 g. of guar gum powder and 7 g. baking powder per 7 fl. Oz. of Dawn Professional Manual Pot & Pan Dishwashing Detergent. When diluted into 1 gallon of water, the mixture is perfect for making very large soap bubbles.

HOWEVER - when stored in its concentrated state, the guar gum and baking powder settle out of the detergent within a day or two, leaving a layer of sediment at the bottom of the container, which must be mixed back into the detergent before dilution.

HOW CAN I PREVENT THIS SETTLING FROM OCCURRING, WHILE ALSO MAINTAINING A POURABLE, FLUID CONSISTENCY?
