What mass of solute is contained in 20.0 ml of a 2.09 M barium acetate solution?
I am making a synthetic solution to imitate a real life situation. I am adding calcium nitrate to the solution to meet a target calcium level of 334 ppm. However, using excel calculations the amount of calcium nitrate that is needed imparts a total of 522 ppm calcium. I am also adding 100 ppm calcium carbonate which will increase the levels of calcium. My supervisor said I need to add nitric acid to lower the calcium imparted by the calcium nitrate. How and why does that work? and what calculation do I need to do to figure out how much nitric acid I need to add?
What mass of calcium carbonate require to produce 400ml of co2 on heating
Find the mass of
a. the water molecules H2O and
b. The rthyl acohol molecules C2H6O. The atomic masses of H,. C, and O are respectively 1,808, 12.01 and 16.00U
What is the conjugate base of H2PO4- + OH-\longrightarrow ⟶ HPO42- + H2O?
What does it mean for a system to be at a state of equilibrium?
1. When a concentrated solution of bromic (V) acid, HBrO3, is warmed, it decomposes to form bromine, oxygen and water only.

Write an equation for this reaction. The use of oxidation numbers may be helpful.
1. A half-equation involving bromate (V) ions, BrO3-, and bromide ions is shown.

BrO3-(aq) + 3H2O(l) + 6e- = Br-(aq) + 6OH-(aq) E = +0.58V

(i) An alkaline solution of chlorate (I), ClO, can be used to oxidise bromide ions to bromate (V) ions.

Use the Data Booklet and the half-equation shown to write equation for this reaction
In the reaction between iodine and thiosulphate ions, the two half reactions are

I2 + 2e- = 2I-
2S2O3^2- = S4O6^2- + 2e-

Use the half equation above to write a single balanced equation
Which change in the following equation is oxidation?
