1,Suppose you are asked to prepare 3.00g of Baso4, an insoluble salt, bu reacting Ba(No3)2 with Na2SO4
a)Write a balanced chemical equation for the reaction
b)Calculate the mass of solid Ba(NO3)2 required
c)Calculate the mass of solid NaSO4 required.
2 Calculate the percentage yield if you performed the experiment described in question 1 and obtained 2.50g BaSO4.
My result
a)BaSO4 + 2NaNO3
b) molar mass 261.37 (I'm not sure what divide)
c)molar mass 142.04 (i'm not sure what divide)
2) I know its actual yield/theoretical yield x 100% ( again I'm not sure what numbers are plug in)
Thanks
