Something I have been pondering ... What would happen if you put all the elements in the periodic table into a bucket ? Would they remain as is or would some combine ? Which elements would 'grab' other elements first ?

Anyway, the reaction between elements will occur. First will react most active elements (alkali metals and halogens) with the formation of salts.Some elements will not react at all (noble gases). In fact, everything depends on the concentration of these elements, physical state, temperature and other facts.
