what can be observed when you mix copper and copper sulphate
In theory, pure copper does not react with copper sulfate solution.
However, commercially pure copper contains impurities. The various grades of unalloyed copper differ in the amount of impurities and therefore would react differently with copper sulfate solution.
For example if zinc impurity is present, zinc displaces copper from copper sulphate and forms zinc sulphate solution.
Copper cannot react with one of its own salts. If it could, it would just exchange copper atoms for copper atoms - with no net change.
