Explain the importance of noble gases in making light bulb, especially neon bulb
Atoms travel long distance to ensure that their outer shell contains 8 sutaible electrons. This produce a chemical bonding, the composition of elements to form compounds.
Reason is, noble gas had a complete outer shell of 8 electron, they are resistant in bond formation. In neon bulbs, a high voltage electrical discharge is therefore passed through a tube of low-pressure neon gas. This electrical discharge excites electrons in the neon atoms, causing them to jump from a low-lying and stable shell to a higher shell.
