Question #145466
Calculate the equilibrium constant, Kc
for the following reaction
if at 350 K the equilibrium mixture contains 2.50 mol of N2, 3.50 mol of O2 and 0.06 mol of NO2 in a 2.0 dm3 vessel. (C3)

[N2] = 1.25 M

[O2] = 1.75 M

[NO2] = 0.03 M

Kc=[NO2]2[N2][O2]K_c = \frac{[NO_2]^2}{[N_2][O_2]}

Kc=(0.03)21.25×1.75=4.1×104K_c = \frac{(0.03)^2}{1.25 \times 1.75} = 4.1 \times 10^{-4}
