Salt bridge - an ionic bond between the COO- groups of aspartic or glutamic acid and the NH3 + groups of lysine or arginine, the length does not exceed 3.5 angstroms.

Anode - an electrode on which an oxidative reaction is observed, it gives up electrons. (movement of positive charges)

Cathode - the electrode on which the reduction reaction takes place, it receives electrons.

Galvanic cell - the production of electricity through a chemical reaction. These items include batteries and accumulators. They are often referred to as chemical current sources.
