Weak acids are acids which are partially ionized in water, while strong acids are ionized completely in water. Strong and weak describe the intrinsic properties of the acid or base, while dilute and concentrated describe the concentration of the acid in water. For instance, we could have a dilute "(0.2M)" of a strong acid( Hydrochloric acid), or a concentrated solution of "(10M)" of a weak acetic acid. By contrast, reference to a strong and weak liquid is a concentration of a given solution.
