Answer to Question #139749 in General Chemistry for stanley

Question #139749
You have been given a sample of solid lithium fluoride, LiF(s), and have been asked to convert it into lithium hydroxide, LiOH. Assuming you have any chemical or lab equipment at your disposal (except any hydroxide-containing compounds), write a step-by-step process showing how you would create the lithium hydroxide. Do this by writing out BALANCED CHEMICAL EQUATIONS FOR EACH STEP, as well as the REACTION TYPE FOR EACH STEP (being as specific as possible). Be as EFFICIENT as you can (i.e. the least amount of steps). *
