Answer: The pressure of a gas generate due to collisions between the gas molecules and gas molecule and the walls of the container. Each time a gas particle hits the wall, it exerts a force on the wall. Force applied in unit area of the container is measure as pressure.

As the amount of air inside the tire increases the number of gas molecule also increases. This increases in the number of molecule inside increases the molecular collisions and the collisions with wall of tire, hence pressure is increased.
