This 2 genes are inherited independently and are located in the different chromosomes, because frequency of recombination can't be more than 50%.
It is possible to assume that phenotype which is observed with the 98% frequency in this cross is original, and 2% are crossovers. In this case distance between A and B is 2 morganides.
