Why is the heteroduplex with constant terminal genes called a non-crossover despite exchange of middle DNA segments?
Who is father of experimental genetics? Is it T.H.Morgan?
Which of following is/are exception(s) of independent assortment ? Why?
1.Duplicate dominant epistasis
2.Complementary gene action/ Duplicate recessive epistasis
3.Linkage
Which of following is/are exception(s) of Law of segregation ? Why?
1. Parental imprinting
2 Random inactivation
3.Maternal effect
4.Incomplete penetrance
5.Nondysjunction
6. Meiotic drive

Note: You may just explain in a word or two for I understand these phenomena.
Is father of modern genetics T.H.Morgan?

There are several opinions on this topic mostly the internet shows that its Mendel. But according to my knowledge it should be Morgan. Who's the father of modern genetics?
When the dihybrid test cross ratio comes out to be 1:1:1:1 it means that the genes are not linked and they assort independently. But from there could we say that the genes are not present on same chromosomes?

I'm thinking this because the genes present on a chromosome form a linkage group that means they are linked. So could we say that the genes involved are not present on the same chromosomes but on different chromosomes?
What is the difference between pi RNA and mi RNA?
(It has something to do with single stranded state and double stranded state, isn't it?)
In a population 9% of births with a mother over 45 is a child with Down syndrome.Sperms normally don't cause Down syndrome because of their large number.Assume the probability of nondisjunction is equall in all cell divisions
What is the probability of chromosome nondisjunction?
Balanced lethal is a true-breeding heterozygous organism maintained in a stable state through the existence of different lethals on each of a pair of homologous chromosomes and resulting in loss of all homozygotes.
I don't get this definition completely. Does this mean that balanced lethal is an organism which survives due to the existence of heterozygosity of lethal alleles?
