Unified DNA analysis of organisms whose visibility is not related to natural phenomena does not require development and cultivation in the environment.Study of uncultivated species is provided by metagenomics . It also provides studying of hylogenetic changes, analysing of metabolic changes, analysing of the structure of microorganism ecosystems, symbiotic relationships and analysing of community functions.
The search for new genes and molecules is a method of metagenomic analysis based on the identification of expressed clones. The principle of a functional anchor allows to identify genes whose function cannot be determined on the basis of DNA sequence.
Recent success in obtaining a variety of genetic material from noncultured microorganisms has led to the discovery of new genes, enzymes and other active compounds. The application of metagenomics has allowed the development of new branches of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
