They can be classified on two major groups:

1) Abiotic factors (including non-optimal temperature, humidity and etc.)

2) Biotic factors (insects, pests such as locusts, worms/grubs, mites)

Against first group farmers try to build greenhouse and support sustainable parameters.

Second group allows usage of chemical weapon - pesticides and biological weapon - organisms, which eat pests.
