Auguste Comte was convinced that in the coming industrial era, there would be more positive thinking. Because of this, he formulated a normative theory as a plan for the future generation by cultivating positivism, a philosophical and political movement that enjoyed an extensive dispersal in the second half of the nineteenth century. It goes under into almost complete oblivion during the twentieth, when it was eclipsed by neopositivism. However, Comte's decision to develop a philosophy of mathematics consecutively, philosophy of physics, philosophy of chemistry, and a philosophy of biology, makes him the first philosopher of science in the modern sense, and his constant attention to the social aspect of science resonates in many respects with current points of view. On the other hand, his political philosophy is even less known because it differs substantially from the classical political philosophy we have inherited.
