Even though the attempt to Anglicize the legislation is apparent, the continuity of traditional property management and control methods is too clear. Women will suffer as a result of this, with worse than ideal results in property rights. As previously stated, this is not to suggest that customary law property rights regimes are hostile to women obtaining such rights.
