Émile Durkheim loved the teaching profession and was highly determined that he would join the teaching profession one day instead of being a cleric like his family proposed. He was a superior student at Épinal School until the age of 18 years. He later moved to Paris and joined the Elysées to help him join the Higher Teachers' School, a top choice for the France academic students. Émile passed a choice in the prelude, and the school that he joined was the center of thought at that time. He possessed a great belief in religion and education.
