  1. A teacher can ensure gender in a classroom through various ways; firstly, ensuring an inclusive environment which can be done through the use a gender neutral language in their lessons. Secondly, teachers should avoid using sexist, embarrassing or trivializing words and humor about them. The teacher should not condone the use of sexist language, humor, and stereotypes. Thirdly, the teacher can mix up both boys and girls in class sitting set up, sporting activities, and make sure he allocates equal measure to all students.
  2. South African education has welcomed gender based teaching at a high notch spurring teachers to engage it in all their lessons. It crucial in a country where gender has to be emphasized. In classroom, teachers various ways to engage in gender fair teaching such as;

a) using project based learning approach where the teacher is intentional about integrating a mix of boys and girls within small group projects such as in group works.

b) using gender neutral language when appropriate so that every student regardless of the gender feels recognized.

3.In my opinion, teachers belong to the lower middle class in the society. Teaching has not been given much appreciation in the society as well as the government in rewarding them. They have little power over other employees and are subordinate to management. They also deal with lower candre (Students) of people in the society.
