Culture encompasses objects and symbols, the meaning given to those objects and symbols, and the norms, values, and beliefs that pervade social life. Cultural practices are shared perceptions of how people routinely behave in a culture that is similar perceptions or descriptive norms and values are shared ideals of a culture.

Ideally, people who live within a culture have a high correlation or similarity to have same norms and values, for example muslims, the ubuntu culture among others. Culture tries to define societal norms and beliefs that people live to abide.
