Discuss what is meant by education in modern society.
A child's education begins the moment he or she is born. Initially, education is a causal process in which an infant observes and imitates others. As the infant develops into a young child, the educational process becomes more formalized through play dates and preschool. Academic lessons become the focus of education as a child progresses through the school system once he or she enters grade school. Even so, education entails far more than simply memorizing facts.
Education can be described as the teacher's planned teaching activities to assist individual learners in acquiring mutually agreed-upon competencies (knowledge, skills, attitudes/values) to perform their various roles in life. Everyone (or nearly everyone) accepts and values education as an indisputable tool for fostering the solid and creative development of any safe, organized, attainable, and sustainable society in the world. However, for education to play this supportive and empowering role in modern society, it must be correctly understood and implemented. At the same time, it should be acknowledged that education is not a solution for all societal issues.
