The concept of law studies the legal law theories. It studies the jurisprudence of common law. It is a philosophical examination of the foundation of law. The concept of law interrogates the legal obligation of law in society and outlines the difference between legal law and moral rules.
The concept of law answers the question, what is law? It also explains the building blocks of law.
Social rules are statements that are put by a society to control the behavior of its members, therefore, promote morality. Morality is an individual's or society's theories regarding wrong and right. Social rules and norms do not follow legal processes but rather have informal orientation.
However, the law is a legal system of rules and regulations mutually accepted by a community or a country to control its members' behavior. These rules when broken by any member, legal penalties should be enforced to correct the behavior. Law follows the legal process to be enforced and implemented in a country.
