Radical criminology is the criminal ideology that describes crimes in African states because it is found on the premise that the people who own means of production enact legislation to rule the working class for their benefit. African states are mainly capitalist and developing, which means that only a few people are at the helm in terms of controlling the economy. According to this premise, the people that start committing criminal activities are usually influenced by this ideology because they believe that they are under exploitation from the ruling class.
