i) Diversity entails the composition of different individuals in regards to their culture, language, race, and other social frameworks. A school may exhibit diversity among its students when learners come from different backgrounds. For instance, when a class of forty students, eighteen of them are whites, ten African Americans, six Latinos, and six Asian Americans, the school are said to have diversity in racial representation and culture.
ii) Culture includes the customs, beliefs, ideas, behaviors, and the overall lifestyle of a particular group of people or society. The culture of one school tends to differ from that of another. In this regard, when the school culture requires that all students must speak a particular official language, it becomes the culture of that school to use the language within the school premises
